Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PrepMaestro and its related services (the "Services"), including IELTS Maestro and future products in the PrepMaestro suite such as SATMaestro, TOEFLMaestro, GREMaestro and PTEMaestro, all provided by PrepMaestro ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Use of the Services
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Services except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or related systems.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure.
4. Educational Content and AI Feedback
PrepMaestro products provide practice materials, scoring, and AI-assisted feedback for learning purposes. Results are estimates and do not guarantee any specific exam outcome. The Services are not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, the British Council, IDP, Cambridge Assessment English, College Board (SAT), ETS (TOEFL/GRE), Pearson (PTE), or any other test owner.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. Purchases are processed through the applicable app store. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to the app store's terms and policies unless otherwise stated in the app.
6. Advertising
The Services may display third-party advertisements. Your interaction with ads is subject to the policies of the relevant advertising partners.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, content, branding, and design, are owned by PrepMaestro or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial learning purposes.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as recordings and written responses. You grant us a license to host, process, and analyze that content solely to operate and improve the Services.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Product-Specific Terms
Individual PrepMaestro products may have additional product-specific terms where regulatory, platform or feature requirements call for them. Any such terms will be presented in-app and will supplement — not override — these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepMaestro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Services.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where PrepMaestro operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
